At some point in the future I would like to have a Ringo signature, and I see these Gartlan plates pop up on Ebay that he supposedly signed 1,000 of in 1996. I would like to have a signature without worrying much about authenticity. Can I trust these? They seem pretty unique, but have people faked these? And what should I pay? I have not done much research but thought I would ask some Beatles enthusiasts on here. Thank You!

A plate will not sell like a signed photo down the road. Some of these are facsimiles, but he apparently did sign 1000 of which this appears to be one. I could be wrong but for this price you might be able to find a signed photo. A signed plate seems to me to have a limited audience and, unlike a photo or the like, this can break. My .02. It seems w/o the signature it's a $40 plate.

Thanks for the info!

Ringo signed a deal with Gartland to personally sign 1,000 of these plates showing different phases of his career in 1996. These have all been signed by Ringo himself...the plates are fine.

Thank You!

No problem...

Other than the first 1000 signed these are hand signed -  the rest are facsimiles. Be careful.
