Freddie Mercury and More signed programme valuation and views?

Hi all,

I have come to obtain this 1986 Time the Musical signed programme for opening night signed by,

Freddie Mercury, Billy Connelly and wife Pamala, John Hurt, Dave Clark, Hank Marvin, Robert Powel, Mike Batt, B A Robertson, Nigel Planner and 2 others not recognised

Whats people thoughts on authenticity and valuation?

Freddie is genuine, but I don't know the other folks. Nor do I know what value they have. I can tell you your average Queen fan won't give it a high value because it has so many other people instead of just Queen related folks. This is definitely a niche piece. If you were to find a group of folks really into the musical, it could be worth a couple thousand. A typical Queen collector would probably offer much less.

Thanks Innuendo.. much appreciated

Dave Clark  looks good imo

Thanks Alan

Agreed. That does look like a rushed Dave Clark signature.

John Hurts looks ok but rushed.  Its a nice eclectic item.  John Hurt's sig is the one that is the most valuable after Freddies imo. I remember going to see the musical

Do you think I could get £500 for it?

Apart from what Innuendo said it doesn't have the greatest contrast. I'd hate to see this cut up. It is what it is.

Thanks Eric.  Do you think it would damage its value by cutting it out as a single Freddie piece?

I wouldn't. This is a niche item. You cut him out and you just have a rushed Fred. Feels like a shame to do that for a piece this unique. It isn't something most strictly Queen collecting folks would go for, but it's probably one of 2 in the world if that. Its the first one I've seen with all of those folks included on it. I'd hold on to it for a few more years and let it grow more in value then let RR offer it. If you must sell now, put it up on eBay with a reserve of 1.5K. I can almost guarantee you'd get more a few years down the road at a bigger house, though.

Thanks again that is good to hear. I will take your sound advice and leave as be

I wouldnt cut it up either.  Its a nice original one off piece as Innuendo says.
