I have never understood the attraction to celebrating on New Year’s Eve.  Even in high school, I found it strange that my friends and I would gather to celebrate....  What exactly did we celebrate?

As an adult, I relax at home with my wife, and watch The Twilight Zone marathon on SYFY.  I barely make it to midnight.

This year has been one like no other.  Our country has suffered tremendously.  Our hobby has also been affected.  Many major conventions have been postponed for up to two years.  Some smaller conventions are attempting to return sooner, along with social distancing guidelines.  In-person collectors are also having their fair share of difficulties on the street.  Many celebrities are scheduling private signings,  resulting in higher costs for collectors.

Is the end in sight?  Let us hope and pray for a return to normal soon.  Too many lives have been lost unnecessarily.  We all know someone who has been a victim of the terrible virus that has plagued us.

Baby New Year could not arrive sooner this year.

This New Year’s Eve, I will be sure to celebrate the end of 2020.  I now understand why many people look forward to a new beginning.  Celebrating the end of an old year, and the beginning of a new year, is a wonderful way to start.

Stay healthy, everyone.  Happy New Year!

Indeed. I submit that the various forms of New Years celebrations, worldwide, furnish us the opportunity to do so "formally", as one people, with common goals.

Happy New Year to All!

I was happy to hear that Al Pacino is still willing to sign autographs on the street.  God bless that 80-year-old man.

I'm sure I may be in the minority here but I have enjoyed a good autograph collecting year. Yes, the way we collect has been altered but there has been many opportunities to add to our collections in different ways. For those who seek there is always a way to find.

I agree, Joe W.  Happy New Year!
