I bought this from a notable seller on eBay two months ago (Told me he would buy the piece back if it didn't pass authentication today).  This signature was obtained in 2004 after a Conan O'Brien taping in New York.  I did get a quick opinion on Beckett and stated "Likely to Pass Full Authentication."  I recently took it in to be looked at at a local sports store that had Beckett Authentication reps in for the day and they did not pass it.  I guess they want to look at it again but wanted to get everyone's opinion on this one.  Appreciate all the feedback!

Why would you buy anything guaranteed to pass authentication? Let them pay up front  to begin with.

Tell the seller you want the sellers  price and the quick opinion fees  and in person 3rd party  fees repaid to you,  and return the autograph.

I paid for the quick opinion prior to purchasing this photo for confidence of the item. The seller has over 1,700 positive reviews and some items are authenticated, and others came with photos of the signer signing the product.

The seller is willing to swallow all the fees, but I really like this photo and the fact that Beckett still wants to review it even though they gave it back to me tells me something right?  Appreciate the feedback!

I should have told you up front that my in person was a full signature when he was young and I had nothing to compare for his adult signings…..my bad. I am in the process of getting my 40 year old collection authenticated so I can start selling in the next couple of years. Back in the day a lot of notable sellers and auction houses sold the occasional piece of junk. Back before modern technology made it a lot harder to cheat, you could send a James Dean back to the same notable auction house you bought it from, to get a reply that "we know we sold you a Dean, but that is not the same one".

Oh that's just fine haha, it's great to get anyone's feedback on this as it's just odd that Beckett wanted to review it more knowing it was from 2004?  I know he had a different signature when he was young, but I would have figured his latest signings are similar to this signature which made it hard for me to understand why it didn't pass in the first place.  I'm going to send it to JSA to see what their thoughts are as well.  Again, truly appreciate the feedback!

I think it looks good.

I agree.

They ended up passing the signature. Was going to send it to JSA, but will hold back now.

Looks okay to me as well
