Hello guys. I recently purchased this signed photo of former President Jimmy Carter from a German autograph seller on eBay. I think President Carter has stopped signing autographs through the mail due to his old age and health issues, so I'd love to know if this is genuine. What I know is that when he signs himself his signature is JCarter like this one, while his autopen is his full name, Jimmy Carter. But I'm definitely no expert, and I really want to know if this is the real deal. Any comments on the signature's authenticity would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance. Looking forward to your opinions!

No idea on authenticity of your photo, but your information on his signing habits is incorrect.

He developed the "J. Carter" version when he started doing large-scale book signings.  There are plenty of photos (and letters, etc.) authentically signed with a full signature.

Here is an example of a handwritten note (with a different signature format variation) for letter/word comparison.
