Got my copy of the Leibovitz book too and was very impressed…super nice quality and love the red edges (along with the cool photos). Her signature is pretty neat too.

Was a good deal (thanks again for coupon code!) and I imagine has good potential value-wise…

You can thank the RACC Facebook Group for the 20% off coupon.

QUESTION ABOUT DAVID COPPERFIELD BOOK. I saw 6 of them at Barnes & Noble. EVERY signature looked exactly the same and in the same spot on the book. I figured -- easy decision. Autopen. Forget it. So I went back a week later, and guess what? 6 books, all with completely different signatures. They all looked different, as I sat there and compared them. And I seriously doubt there'd be 6 autopens. I can buy three, but not six, so I bought one. Was my logic sound on that decision?

Post a picture

If they are thin, pen looking signatures where you can read every letter of both names, it is not legit. Only authentic ones I’ve seen of Copperfield in this book are a thicker marker with the D being clear and the rest of the name considerably shortened.

Premiere's bookplates with their dominant logo are hideous, but I'll take an ugly bookplate with a genuine signature over a lovely tipped-in page with an autopen any day.

I looked at maybe 6 at my Barnes store and they had different autopens I think I found 3 different matching signatures on the 6 books. So he used autopen but had a few different templates. I almost got fooled thinking they were different signatures till I looked at a few more and noticed they all matched other signatures

There were multiple autopen variations sold via Barnes & Noble and Talk Shop Live. The Premiere Collectible.

Just noticed BAM aka booksamillion.com has buy 2 get one free on signed books right now. Thought I'd post in case anyone missed it. They got some decent names.

I am not to happy with bam now….lately they they have screwed me over twice…

copperfield book.. was autopen… they only gave store credit because it was returned after two weeks…

wil smith signed book that i pre ordered and camw out nov 9th… on dec 20th, i emailed them asking where it was.. they just got back to me last night… saying it was delivered.. yah, i nevee received it.. weirdly, i cannot login to my acct. there even after resetting my password three times. When i looked up the order number itself last night on their website, it says shipped but shows no tracking info at all. I confirmed i never received tracking info last month.. I have a feelng it was never shipped.. every book I have ever bought from fhem, they always send a shipping email with tracking #. With this book there was never that. No its not in my spam folder. No i was not hacked.

At this point.. F*** BAM…..

That really sucks. I haven't had too many problems with them, but have had them cancel my orders before without any warning. I wouldn't trust them for any order that I'd be upset if I missed out on... but the ones I have gotten from them have been okay.

Never fails lol…oh well, glad to have it :-)
