I'll post it on here once it arrives so you can take a look. Thanks for replying Rich. I appreciate it.

Here is a photo of the card I have. I believe I ordered mine through Newbury Comics

Thanks Steve, and is that considered a good example. I am not that familiar with his signature.

Yes that is the same one I have.

Hi Chris,

you are welcome.

Yes, damageinc777 is correct that this is considered a good example.

Does anyone have pics of a bad example?

I got this TTM. I've never been sure if it's legit or not. I posted it on the RACC group on FB a while back, and was told that his autograph is inconsistent even in person, and it's hard for anyone to know what's legit and what isn't.

Not authentic IMO, here is one of mine for comparison

They could be from a different time. They are very similar in style.

I got my Mellencamp in today from Newbury. I wish he didn’t use a black marker, but it still does pop though all things considered. I know people were questioning the authenticity of some of his items in the past and I have no idea if this is legit or not, but here it is.

Hi Jacob, Thanks for sharing. Mine is still on the way from Newbury. Of the signed CD's and cards I have of John, this is definitely legit. I agree, it would have been nice if he used silver or even gold sharpie but I think it still looks cool. Cheers!

As promised earlier in this conversation here is my “Sad Clowns and Hillbillies” CD from Amazon US which arrived today, in the UK. As I am not familiar with his signature any thoughts would be appreciated. Is this the debatable one Rich was talking about?

Kind of looks legit to me without any obvious “autopen dots”!
