Hi,

Are there any Laurel & Hardy specialists out there?  I would be grateful for educated opinions on these signatures.

Thanks!

This is good....signed in-person during a post-war UK tour in 1947.  We are used to seeing "through the mail" signed photos which are somewhat common (and sometimes suspect).  Here's another in-person from '47, probably from the same signing event:

Many thanks!

I sent my SP to ACOA for authentication and they failed it.  I was absolutely astonished so I thought I would ask others.

In your opinion my L&H signatures are genuine, then?

Yes, I do believe it's genuine.  Most people are used to seeing their "through the mail' signed photos from 'Laurel And Hardy Productions' (usually the ones by the photog. Stax).  This is a slightly different look to their signatures, but entirely typical of that period in the late 40's (again, look at the album page below).

Here's an album page from the '47 tour:

And another in-person from '47:

Thanks again.  You have some great signed photos!

You are very welcome.  I like your photo very much.  In my opinion, it's definitely one to be proud of owning!

Don't mean to barrage you, but here's one a bit later from their '52 British tour.....still consistent with yours:

these are good imo but why don't you ask dave tomlinson. just google dave or david tomlinson on laurel and hardy autographs.
