It should be easy then to establish a comfortable degree of authenticity in the signatures. It just requires someone to do it - how you do it is another matter since most examples will be hanging on peoples' walls.
I wonder how involved or not he is in the making of them. Strictly speaking, if he is not involved at all, then they are not even Bob Dylan prints - they are "after" Bob Dylan. Even digital print-making requires a lot of knowledge and skill. That's a question for the future, not really relevant now, I guess.
It's interesting that average ebay prices seem to be much lower than a lot of gallery prices.

Like I said earlier, Both of these Dylan "Philosophy" book fiascos (first Indigo Canada, and second S&S USA UK) make my stomach turn and make me question:
ARE HIS ART PRINTS AND MONDO SCRIPTO "signatures" also AUTO PENCILS? or Secretarial ???

I purchased a set of Mondo Scripto prints in late 2020. I started a thread this morning with pics of the signatures. This fiasco makes me nervous about the authenticity of the signatures.

besides I know for a fact that they’re real, I own 10 of them.

This book fiasco has even got me wondering now! I would never have questioned authenticity on any of Dylans Prints
As we know this applies for all signatures - No matter what they cost be it £10.00, £2500.00 or £50000.00 or more. Unless the signee does it right in front of you in person - you will never know who signed it for sure - likewise when i eventually buy a Dylan pre 2020 art print - I will never know for sure - Just because you own one it doesn't mean it's really signed by Bob Dylan, You only have to look at everybody's Sigs on ebay - how many of them are 100% real??? 10%? 20%? I bet there are far more Fake Sigs than real ones on ebay and that's for sure.
Yes it may be a real, but who signed it will remain in debate forever and this is thanks to Dylan / Simon & Schuster or whoever opening up a whole new can of worms !

This reminds me of an argument I had with a friend about Seth McFarlane's real voice.. he was certain that the voice he uses during interviews is his actual real voice and I was telling him its impossible to know. He's a voice actor and we have only ever seen him on TV. I told him I think his real voice is probably not nearly as deep.. OMG that went on forever..
I agree with what you say. Sorry Nichole, you can't base authenticity on price or how it was obtained. Just like the Aspinall Beatles signatures. If you didn't see it in person, you just don't know, which is why we should be talking about these and researching the signatures deeper
