Received my signed CD today. Well packaged in a padded envelope, tucked inside a folded blues magazine. Would have purchased the disc regardless of a signature. “I Let My Guitar Do The Talking,” “Gunsmoke Blues,” “I’ve Got a Feeling” are standout tracks.

Awesome. I didn't buy the cd but noticed the description states that it includes the blue foil certificate. Ive seen another booklet with this foil sticker on the back of the booklet. Did yours come the same way?

I was lucky enough to score both a black and white version of Buddy's signed squire guitars over the last month. I have a question for other collectors of autographed guitars. I want to display these permanently in a room without windows but am still concerned about long term effects from dusting. I want to seal the guitar in lacquer but am worried about the ink bleeding during the process. does anyone have any experience sealing autographs on guitars? also, for potential future collectors, would the overall value decrease in your eyes on account of the autograph being "sealed" in this way? Say I give one to my daughter. No expectations, if she decided to sell it in the future, so be it.. would it be better to seal it now, or leave it as is and let her decide later?

Unless somehow guitars are exempt, coating or sealing an autograph would always impact value in a negative way. To me, it's sort of like laminating a paper item.
For display, I'd put it in a Plexiglas case/box or shadow box frame.

Don’t mess with it! I’ve had signed guitars on display in my family home my whole life and they still look great. No case. Just keep out of the sun.

I would never coat or seal a guitar. How long did it take to receive your guitar from them? Can you post a pic of the black squire?

Thank you to all for the replies, I did have thoughts of how the autograph community views laminating autographed photos in the back of my mind, but the more I researched, it seems to be common for people to seal them. I guess it makes sense if you plan on actually using the guitar and keeping the autograph for life. As a collector, it does make sense to leave it as is. I have other guitars and have no intention of using these. Its for display only.
Follow up question though, If you found an autographed guitar being sold from a collector who had previously sealed it, Would you pass on the guitar completely? or would you still consider purchasing the item?
Here is a photo of the black squire. It took about a week for them to actually ship it out after purchase. I've bought a few other things from them and from what I see, they only ship orders out once a week.
