From what I've heard Bookends is horrible when it comes to outside memorabilia. Most if not all book stores restrict outside memorabilia but I've had good luck with some of the actual celebrities that will sign additional items or sign another item instead of the book. It just all varies.

It may depend on the signer and the turnout.

A couple of years ago I saw Sugar Ray Leonard there.  He was willing tio sign one other item in addition to his book.  But the second item had to be personalized.

It may be worthwhile giving the store a call to see what the ground rules are for Tony Dungy.

I saw Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley there in the fall and they were very strict about no other items.

There was a HUGE line for Simmons and Stanley.  Not so much for some others. And that may well have something to do with what they sign.

I find that if the person is really doing work for some society that is to raise money they will usually get a request for how much the item sold for. Ask for a copy of it I ask for 2 photo's so someone gets the org. and another the copy with a note from me telling about the item and what it sold for and when. And all of you wanting to know about Clint Eastwood Auto it is different than you would thing the ending D goes down if it is real he has one secretary that has been signing for him for 30 years and if you get the real think you will know what the difference is. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.  In 2011, Sugar Ray Leonard did a signing there and we were allowed one other item signed.  I have never seen so many boxing gloves!  He also did this in NYC so it was Sugar Ray's policy and not the book store itself.  I attended the Pete Townshend signing a year later there and there was a strict no other items signed policy which is usally the case.
