rockinmemories4U selling fake autographs please check out and pass the word

I was a victim of a company called rockinmemories4u. I purchased items from them, ranging from albums to guitars. Only recently when I went to have them certified was I informed that they were fake signatures.  I was so embarrassed and pissed. The items were purchased over a year ago. Now that I look at what they are selling I know now . How stupid I was, thinking I can get signed items from deceased musicians for such cheap prices. I bought a beatles signed album for 1,300.00 Please pass the  word around about this company. They have a store on ioffer.com They currently have over 400 signed items for sale such as the beatles, Bob Marley, keith Moon , and other members of the music industry that are deceased.

I'm sorry you had this experience.  While there are many safe avenues for obtaining authentic autographs, there infinitely more fraudsters trying to steal your money.  Unfortunately, this is one of them.

I'm really sorry to hear that, Michael. What is their address and do you know the owner's name? It looks like a place in Washington that used to go by the name Autographs America.

Had a similar kind of situation to yourself so know how you feel; however English procedures are different to USA so what I did/didn't do won't help you.  However, assuming you used credit card have you tried charge back or are you are of time for it as each website I've looked at gives you a different amount of time for using it. If you haven't tried it give your credit card a ring but say you have recently become aware of the problem as I think you have 120 days to file a complaint from when you were aware there was a problem. good luck

You should also write to ioffer.com and maybe you can get these guys thrown off.

Michael, it pains me to hear these stories. But why in the world would you buy a Beatles signed album for $1300 when minimal research would have shown you what a real one should sell for?

As my buddy Chris has always implored people,,, DO YOUR RESEARCH.

This is why forgers abound in this hobby/business. It makes me sick to read about stuff like this but if people don't use their smarts before buying, then this is what happens.

Michael, try to contact a law enforcement agency in the city where these people operate. Or contact a local TV station and see if they have a consumer reporter.

Good luck.

The thing with ebay is there are deals to be found, but if the person had hundreds of "Deals" its too good to be true, if they have say 4 or 5 autographs listed could be an auction find deceased family member ect. where the odds go up of getting a good piece with research. I once got a Jim Thorpe signed 8x10 that passed jsa for $45 on ebay and no im not missing a zero. Thats part of why if people think its a good deal theyll chomp the bait 9 times out of ten risk vs. reward

Hi Michael, I had to check out there site. I couldn't tell what there address was. I've been doing this for 48 years and I believe there is some major problems with there autographs. I just looked at the worst fake Michael Jackson forgery I ever saw. I'm going to be filming a TV show called "The Autograph Hound" and I would like to do a interview with the owner of this company, and why he doesn't have a lifetime guarantee. I truly hate seeing collectors who spend there hard earn money, being ripped off by these type of crooks.
