Not authentic in my opinion

Ok thanks. Person selling said won at Charity Event. It's hard to trust anyone.

Definitely not

"won at a "Charity Event" is the new "estate sale" or "grandpa's attic/footlocker ". What I have noticed through the years is that as forgery has expanded, the authenticity of autographed material at charity auctions and events has diminished. I suspect that there are those that knowingly donate forgeries, either their mistaken purchases, or slightly botched attempts to charities, unwilling to donate the real thing and its true equivalent cash value, but the fake stuff? "Here you go, glad I could help the cause, you're welcome"! Charities, being what they are, not autograph professionals are, for the most part, unaware of the authenticity, and not much is made of it because, "It's for a good cause" (so who really cares if someone gets shafted on the authenticity, it's all about helping others). Not advocating purchasing through charities. Without proper authentication, it's best to look at a charity auction purchase as a donation, a good thing, and if the piece you won turns out to be real, you were rewarded with it for that donation. If not, your reward was feeling good about the donation.
