Might be authentic -- make sure it's not a copy and get some more opinions.

The seller sent me a picture where we see the ink coming out behind the autograph so not a copy.

Value is a subjective thing. My "buy" range would be different than yours. I would say $1,000 US and up. How far "up" goes depends on the buyer.

If you could get this for $1000, that would be a great price.  Even $1500 would be reasonable.  Signed photos have been going over $5000 and more at least from what i saw last year.  Prince did not sign very much at all after the early 90s, maybe before that even.  So this would be a nice one to get.  Good luck!
