Am I correct to believe this is a very bad forgery?

I couldn't even tell it was supposed to be Lennon from the autograph.

Looks unlike any other Lennon I've ever seen.

I would have expected a photo taken by Mum to back this story up. After all they did hang around the Dakota to see and meet John. Because the seller remembers he was eight why isn't the year the autograph was signed stated.  I do not like the autograph.

It's garbage!!!! ...(the autograph and the story!!!)

Garbage!

What kind of meds does someone swallow to claim that poster is signed by John - and then add his own Mom to the fraud? I suspect there is nothing that can be said here to deflate this dudes balloon. Equally funny/sad to me is it has a $200 bid.

Never fully believe the story -- trust your own eyes and study the ink.  This Lennon is not authentic and someone is about to be ripped off.
