There is a Doors contract from 1969 fully signed by all the band members coming up for auction in Gotta have it rock & roll.com, To be honest I didn’t think they were back in business due to going bankrupt.

was wondering if this Doors contract is legit or another bogus piece because I can remember some forgers copying the contracts a few years ago.

This is one of the bogus contracts, IMO. It’s the same one they offered at auction in 2012. After it went unsold, it was offered by another auction house where it was removed after it was determined to be a fake.

P.S.: You're probably thinking of It's Only Rock and Roll.

Here is a link to a discussion on these contracts. I agree with Ballroom that the one you posted is clearly a forgery.

cheers for advice guys much appreciated

just noticed they have got a fake beggars banquet but also they have genuine items as well like the fully signed hards night, mixed bag !!

Yes its always a mixed bag with Gotta Have

What are the warning signs their Banquet (Stones) LP is fake?

Somebody in the US was faking them

ive got 3 album pictures of beggars banquet all done by same person

It would be super rare to get a genuine beggars banquet signed it came out back end of 1968 they weren’t touring then and Brian Jones died in July 1969 it’s like getting the equivalent of the Beatles white album signed my opinion

Wow those are really similar. Someone said they look like the forger was copying 1964-5 era Stones sigs.  I've only seen one authentic one (attached) that sold at Lelands years ago. At least I THINK it's authentic.

Never seen that beggars banquet

yes they look like 1965 autographs on the fake albums

looks like the forger did these as well

Authentic contract from 1970:

Contract from Gotta Have Rock and Roll:

It’s gotta be somebody who’s got a deep knowledge about this type of memorabilia to do that, Might even be a dealer or collector.

But they always make the same mistake every time they make more, that’s because their greedy

I have seven different examples, including some with differing errors. This one shows an incorrect formation of the N in ‘John’ and N in ‘Raymond.’ Another one corrects those errors, but the R in ‘Raymond’ is wrong.
