What is this 1st Pressing Hendrix LP Worth? Advice Needed. Thanks for ANY Help.

Hi Folks,

I am trying to help someone. What is this worth more or less? This is described as a first pressing Are You Being Experienced, Mono, US version, no inner sleeve (gone missing). Condition of jacket and LP as shown. Offered for $200. Many thanks for you help!

There’s a good amount of sales history for this album on popsike.com. Also, Jeff Gold of Recordmecca would be a good person to ask.

Thank you Mark. Those appear in better condition.Even w/o the inner sleeve and apparent wear (esp at Obv edges to jacket) and LP this would still be a good deal at $200?

I collected Hendrix vinyl until around 5 years ago these 3 tone labels aren't that rare likely worth around $50 in this condition there are 2 or 3 slightly different versions,different pressing plants etc I wouldn't dive into this copy there are much better out there and condition is king if you can find a shrink sealed copy you might be looking at $250,the rarest versions are the two tone second pressings in mono a nice one is worth around $700

The album is 52 years old, so naturally it might have a few inclusions with it. Other than the obvious scuff on the front jacket/sleeve and the fact that the original paper sleeve is missing, this album and vinyl is in very good condition. To expect a 'perfect' album/record is foolish IMHO, and I've been collecting them for 40 years now.

Just don't overpay. There is no reason to spend $200 on something worth $50 or so. I'd learn the grading system, and be aware of fake vinyl and jackets etc and find a reputable source.
