Authentic IMO. Matches exemplars I found online from 1949 era.
Jackie's signature was very erratic. He normally did not connect the "R" and "o" but he sometimes did. I realize that is not the only issue versus the example you posted but I still think this one is authentic.
I'm not a Robinson expert but have seen several authenticated examples that closely match this one. Having said that, it is certainly just my opinion.
its the second "n" that concerns me more than anything else. and just the overall shape of the signature. the one above still exhibits the typical JR traits even though its an earlier version. for some reason, I just don't see it in the one posted. as you said, just our opinions.
