Hello, I was wondering what my autograph of the monkees might be worth? It is a card board record like you would find on the back of cereal boxes signed by Davy Jones, Peter Tork, Mickey Dolenz. I bought it a few years back from a reputable dealer in autograph for 80 dollars.

Tim, to be blunt, I've never seen a music or entertainment autograph offered by Autograph Store that I thought was genuine. This is one of the companies that supply charity auctions--probably one of the biggest--and it kills me to think of the charities and donors getting burned.

Anyone remember the article on my rare Ray Charles autograph "Is it Ray? that ran in the magazine for three issues? Seems that the poll taken had opinions at about 50-50 as to the authenticity. Still, as I explained to Steve Cyrkin over the phone, it is real...and I'm in looking for a buyer. Any suggestions from you all?

Thanks, great site...finally "Live Chat" about one of my favorite pastimes...

i read your article and found it intresting but i do not believe Ray Charles ever signed anything. It's just my opinion but he went blind very early in his life, had little education and always told me and every other collector i have toalked to who asked him for an autograph "i won't sign anything i can't see". now this is my opinion only.

That's understandable Roger, and along the lines of other comments made to me following the article. My response is only that, Ray Charles was about eight when he lost his sight, was an intelligent person, wrote music, and is always referred to as Genius. A genius could write his name no matter his sight. Thanks and your comments are what I'm looking for. Trying to get the conversation going. Thanks,
kg

I have an interesting story for you about a signed Beatles postcard . I have seen it and it is so unusual that it would blow your MIND!
