I could spend all day calling out every bad U2 forgery I see that appears on Ebay, but I felt this one deserves special attention as it is particulalrly loathesome.  This seller is a liar who deserves to be called out.

The forgeries aren't really worth discussing, since they aren't even in the realm of being comparable to authentic examples.   Clearly, undeniably forged by the same hand with minimal compentency of what authentic examples look like and zero skill/effort whatsoever. 

That aside, the seller's story is a complete lie.  Here's a except from his/her fairytale:

"I got the autographs signed back stage and no im not including the back stage pass wit this item, that is a keep sake.  I can see on ebay they are hard to find there autographssss. My dad was the head sound board tech for the show at Landshark Stadium. Ill scan in the ticket tonight it would not photograph well on my phone. I can tell you that Ive met 1000's of musicians from the ages of 5 to 18 years old and still meeting them and U2, out of just about everyone Ive met were not very nice. They only signed the photo b/c of my dad, at first when I was backstage they didnt even pay attention to me when I tried to hand them the photo. When they saw my dad walking me up to them they signed it."

The story is a lie because the autograph is absolutely forged.  But the fib also irritates be because it falsely fortrays the band as snobbish and mean.  Most fans who have met Bono, Edge, or Adam will tell you that they are generally warm personalities who do demonstrate appreciation for their fans.  They don't collectvely treat them like crap, as this guy implies.   Really, the whole story is absurd though.  Like the autographs, the item background portayed in the description is incompetent fabrication.
