Half the mystery solved!

Aha!  I have solved the mystery with the lower signature.  It is that of Illinois Representative Samuel Moulton, who probably practiced law with, or against, Abraham Lincoln.  I was misled by the initial "S" and the last "b", which looks to me like a "b."See More
