"Clamshell boxes are a great idea. I have some of my better pieces in clamshell boxes. Another thought would be to frame a high quality repro and store the original away. I use a company literally across the street that does high quality corporate…"

"As long as you use acid free and UV glass you won't have any issues, that is if you want it framed. If you are not going to frame it then make sure it can breathe (keeps dry) and stays loose in the holder."

About Me

What brings you to Autograph Magazine Live?
I have always read the magazine. While goggle searching autographs, I came acrossed the site. It caught my eye. The mention of addresses interests me. I have been mail collecting as of late. So I thought I would join.
What kind of member are you? Industry professionals must use their real names and identify themselves as such. (You don't have to pick just one!)
Collector
What do you collect, or want to start collecting?
Sports, Music, Horror
Tell us more about your collection, specific areas of interest, etc.:
I have a little bit of this and that in my collection, but it's mostly hockey and mainly Philadelphia flyers Auto's and memorabilia.
What is your level of expertise?
Advanced Collector
What is your favorite autograph in your collection?
Don't have just one, they are all special
Why do you collect?
Really don't know why. back in 1973, my brother came home from work with some autographs and I thought that was really neat that he got to meet these guys. He gave them to me. Ever since I get this excited feeling when meeting someone in person and getting an auto. It like makes me feel like we are friendly. Getting some thru the mail feels almost the same, It like we have made a connection, even more if they write something back to me.
You can ask anyone living or dead for their autograph. Who would it be?
Stevie Ray Vaugh. I am a huge fan.
