Scarcity of William Geaust Marine Combat Photographer Who Filmed Flag Raising on Iwo Jima

How scarce is the autograph of William Genaust?  On February 23, 1945, he stood beside Joe Rosenthal atop Mount Suribachi, and filmed the raising of the U.S. flag.  Nine days later he was killed in action.  Unlike Rosenthal, who lived to see how famous his photo was and was a generous signer for 60 years before his death in 2006, Genaust never made it off of Iwo Jima.…See More

Multi-signed copy of "To Kill a Mockingbird", The Beatles, Secret Service Agent Clint Hill,...it's difficult to pick one.
Why do you collect?
For the connection to history.

The Hensel twins or Paul McCartney.
