Mr. Steffman replied to Allen Blankenship's discussion Bruce Springsteen signed guitar, Autograph Pros COA
"There's a market value, it's likely $3k-$5k. If it was on the body, it might sell faster, and for more. Uncle Bruce signed pickguards are the furthest thing from a dime a dozen. He hasn't signed an endless amount of pickguards,…"

Mr. Steffman replied to David's discussion 2Pac Signed Photo -- authentic or fake
"Thanks for sharing David. Rich is correct. This just means the bad Tupac on eBay and the one you're sharing here both come from the same bad source. Even though it may have a bid for $800, the buyer was just duped. An authentic Tupac is…"

Mr. Steffman replied to David's discussion 2Pac Signed Photo -- authentic or fake
"Yes, bad news. The prices are often extremely low and they frequently sell names like Tupac and Kurt Cobain. If you Google the COA, you will find many discussions about them."

Mr. Steffman commented on Rich's blog post A COA is worthless . . . except when it's not
"Good. COA is also an alright way to note the source of the item, for better or for worse, not including fugazi COAs of course. Something turns me off about an autograph without a story or source. A lot of times I'll ask the source to write…"

Mr. Steffman replied to Allen Blankenship's discussion Bruce Springsteen signed guitar, Autograph Pros COA
"A simple and direct answer is it's worth a lot, regardless of whether it's signed on the body or the pickguard. Bruce doesn't sign guitars or pickguards at all anymore, only for charity and they always sell for a big premium. Very…"

Mr. Steffman replied to Allen Blankenship's discussion Bruce Springsteen signed guitar, Autograph Pros COA
"Looks good. Bruce very rarely sign guitars anymore, and the signature on is nicer than usual. It should be expensive. Similar sample attached for comparison."

"The signature is identical to the common ones which are preprinted on the back. Attached is a sample of one of those, layered directly above yours. Perfect match."
