Bob while I am not an expert on Jim Morrison signatures I saw your sold listings on eBay included this:

The Eagles "Hotel California' fully signed/autographed album/lp. Exceptional! (#252392314319) An authentic fully signed "Hotel" is worth between 2500-4500. Why would you sell it for so much under value?  (Photo was not there anymore)

i sold this at what I felt was a fair and appropriate price (i.e what I would pay). The prices you refer to our the R&R auction prices where in my opinion, people absurdly overpay for everything.

UPDATE: I sold this Morrison sig to a 30 year Morrison/Doors collector (that is all he collects). We did it via private sale and because he happened to live in my state about an hour's drive away, we met at a coffee shop, where I got payment and he got the autograph. Much to my surprise and delight, he brought along a box of some of his collection to show me. He had not one but two signed poetry books by Morrison, endorsed checks, cut sigs, original concert ticket stubs, handbills, etc. Needless to say, I was very impressed.
