How's this for heartfelt and touching: Reynolds' son said his mother's last words were, "I want to be with Carrie".

Not to take anything away from the career of Carrie Fisher, but I think her mother, Debbie Reynolds, was actually a much bigger star than Carrie. At least that is according to my sister who is a generation older than I. Although many young people may not have even heard of her before, Debbie Reynolds was a huge star in her day. Although there was much more to Carrie than just "Star Wars", it didn't hurt her being one of the leads in the most popular (and highest-grossing) movie franchise of all-time.
