Harrison Ford Questionable Autographs

Some of you know me, and from what I understand, someone caught selling yet another bad Ford autograph has once again, decided to spout off at the mouth. Claims that I am a dealer and I only tell unsuspecting autograph buyers that their item is fake so that I can sell my own Harrison Fords. Again I am hearing claims that the likely supplier of the forgeries is the true expert on Harrison Ford autographs.

Side note the seller sent me a friend request message yesterday with the single question about if I knew a particular collector. In my world this says plenty, and likely tells me where the piece originated.

When I tell people that I track the sale of Harrison Ford autographs, I am not kidding around, I watch sales here, I watch sales on rebelscum and on ebay and other online auction sites.

Who signed them? Who is the forger? I am not going to play games and point fingers, nor will I even guess if the supplier is the forger, all I can do is put together where they came from.   

I will give the people that have had these in their possession, that courtesy. They can come clean about where they got them as the "in-person" and "private signing" stories fall apart.

This is the same courtesy I tried to provide to Marc Moser, the last guy caught in a huge Ford Forgery mess. He decided to drag my name thru the mud for a few months as well, but by doing that he just shot himself in the foot. People will wake up sooner or later, and the truth does come out.   

 I present these images to you, again supplying the signatures and letting the people on this forum and others as judge, you decide the truth. You will also be the deciding factor if these autograph professionals keep their reputations or if they have earned brand new ones.

Every item below has been tracked to the most recent seller, and through his own admission the source of the autographs, I will also include items sold elsewhere by the supplier who admitted on these very pages to supplying some of these.

The pattern is pretty clear to me.

As for the recent claims about me being a dealer, out to only hurt other peoples supposedly reputable business.

Please keep in mind, that anyone that has purchased anything at all from me in the past 5 years has approached me. When they do I usually point them in other directions and offer to authenticate (for free) any item they ask about, from any other source.

They are vintage authentic one sheets from Cooleaters. The poster value alone is high. Incorporate a good graph from a megastar hard to put a price on it. You will never get Ford on anything other than a reprint. Even the OP posters are reprints. Great graphs but still reprints. The ESB B Derek has is probably worth 300 alone. Restore and back them and they look perfect. True collectors items over the stupid 8/10's. OP did some vintage and they sold out in seconds. Literally seconds.

How many autographs do you think Harrison Ford signs a year outside of private signings? And if you have an opinion—or anyone does—how do you come to it?

Ford has been a great signer lately. If he is in public, especially at a talk show or press event for a film he is promoting, he will have people line up and he will sign for everyone. That is as long as no one starts shoving or trying to get in an extra, if that happens he will just walk away and no one gets anything.

You don't bother him at home, and you don't bother him if he is with his family. If the graphers are cool and stay lined up, he will sign for everyone there, one each. Figure he does one film a year, and 2 or 3 talk shows for that film, add to that 2 or 3 airshows he attends around the USA, he will sign maybe 20-50 graphs per event, but the graphs you get will be nothing like the quality autographs you see coming from a private signing.    

One major thing about Harrison signing at one of these events, he will be looking at the next item he will sign as he is signing the piece in front of him. If you try to sign something someone else is holding while not looking at what you are doing.....guess what you end up with?

Hi Guys,

I'm on the search for a 11x14 Ford and am struggling.

I already have a 10x8 but it was very rushed as Pete told me before.

I have come accords this one (attached) but again I'm thinking this may be a rushed example, though I'm comfortable with the seller.

At $450 I'm wondering if this is worth going for or whether i should bide my time and wait for something better?

If you could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it! Ben

I have seen good stuff from the seller, but there is very little to show that this is an authentic sample. 

When I am dead ..... who will verify that as real?

The price is well below retail....and that is because of how it looks.

I say drop the $600- $700 for a nice street graph, or save towards a sit down or even better.... a vintage signature.

It is far more recognizable as a Ford autograph, but I don't think I would say it is a "nice street graph."

Here's an interesting piece. JSA authenticated Ford, Fisher, Daniels and Mayhew.

Do you think it's authentic, Pete?

Well the Daniels looks ok.....does that count for something?

The Ford is garbage, the Fisher is invisible (so... no clue) and Mayhew's autograph has been getting worse every year, kind of doubtful it would have gotten better for that single signature.

To be fair if the Ford is garbage that pretty much ends my interest anyways. I also noticed the Fisher isn't on the JSA cert, so that might explain the poor visibility in the photos (intentional?).
