It has been tough to purchase soccer autographs that are real. I need to know other then JSA and PSA who is the trusted authenticator for soccer autographs. I want to purchase Messi and some others like Maradonna and Zidane. Most of those signatures come from europe and I would like to know who is trusted before I buy fake soccer auto's. I am looking for your guys feedback.
Thanks,
Jonah Aldrete

I know you posted this a long time ago but for the other members and for future reference: I recently purchased from a great company www.icons.com, licensed by UEFA, FIFA and is a sister company to Steiner (look on Steiners website, click "Soccer" and you'll see what I mean). They have a sale on Messi and Kaka this month I believe.
Spot on. I checked the Pele and it looks good. Also I can tell they work with stiener because that is the same pele jersey framed in stieners stores and website. Thanks for the help.
Any time. Hope you find something you like.

Jonah,
If you need help on soccer authentication, friend or post a comment to Markus Brandes's profile here, he's an AFTAL dealer in Switzerland. Top notch, has a major in-person crew, and he knows who to go to for advice. He's always happy to help collectors.
Thanks Steve, I will.
Hi. If you find the ACAF (Autograph Collectors Against Fakes) forum on ebay, I'd say most of the discussions revolve around soccer autographs. Great group, and many of the top dealers in Europe seem to be involved. They also have their own website now.
Hello to all: I kinda fell in this discussion while doing a search online on Authenticating Autographs from sports players. I have one from Brazil, Ronaldhino Gaucho, he was playing for Barcelona at the time and came to play in NY in 2006, I have a relative that works for the MLS and was able to get his autograph on the Brazilians home team jersey, well now I want to authenticate it, just do not know a reliable site? Thanks
Hey Frank. Your best bet would be PSA/DNA. You should have no trouble selling in the upwards of $500 + it if it is authenticated by them; many buyers only buy PSA'd items, especially in football, since this category of memorabilia is rampant with forgeries. It would also help you if your relative has any pictures of Ronaldinho signing the jersey, additional proof is always good to have.
PSA/DNA all the way. That will give you top value for the jersey and trust.
I didn't know PSA/DNA was popular for soccer.
