My kids bought me an autographed Tombstone movie poster from a vendor at Wizard World in Chicago. I have no reason to doubt it's validity other than the COA that came with it. I looked up All Star Autographs online and can't find any proof the the company ever existed. Did my kids get ripped off?

Could you post photos of the signatures?
Sure! Here are a few. Sorry about the glare but hopefully you can see it.

The Kurt Russell and Heston appear to be signed by the same hand. Notice the "S" in Russell and Heston. It's the same style S and a very unique style at that.

Generally speaking, buying this type of autograph (non convention guests including some big names) at a comic con type event is not a good idea. Plenty of bad forgery dealers set up camp there. I don't have a stranglehold on these signatures, other than to say they don't really looks right. If this is supposed to be Kilmer, it's not even close.

Sorry Lauren, the signatures are not real.
Thank you for your help. I know they paid quite a bit of money just trying to do something nice for me. I don't think I have the heart to tell them.

A poster signed by that cast is something many in-person collectors have been working on for years. The vast majority of them might have 4 or 5 signatures on the posters.

A poster with those authentic signatures would likely start at about $3500 with the more likely price tag at $5000 with numerous deceased signers.

Unfortunately not a single autograph in the images you provided are signed by the celebrities.

My daughter was able to cancel the transaction on her credit card and when she called the vendor, he didn't even argue with her. Just asked her to send it back. WHEW! Thanks for your help!
Fantastic result Lauren!

Congrats, I am thrilled that you decided to check into the piece.

Smart move looking into that. Saved yourself some money and headaches.
