A co-worker gave me this ball. He couldn't identify the signature but said his son won the ball maybe 15 years ago. His son didn't remember who it was either.
Anyone recognize?
Thanks,
Christopher
Maybe Tony Clark?
Drew
That’s a tough one. It doesn’t look like Tony Clark’s signature...
The autograph was obviously obtained after 2000 (when Selig unifies the baseballs from separate NL and AL balls).
i went though all of the players who wore #44 for several years from 2000 on; I wasn’t able to come up with anyone whose signature resembled what you have there.
Here’s a good resource if you want to start searching:
www.baseball-reference.com:8080/friv/numbers.cgi?number=44&year...
I only searched players... Maybe a coach?
First name possibly a "D" ?????
