My apologies.

I have been following JFK signed items for over ten years. All of sudden a few days ago, I became aware of the increasing scarcity of his signatures. A lot of the big-name dealers' stock of JFK signatures has either (a) stagnated, or (b) decreased.

Maybe the market has stalled in the area of JFK sigs and nothing new is being made available. Or, maybe all the "good stuff" is gone and being held.

Any opinions? I imagine like any commodity, there are trends. Maybe the trend is down for JFK items.

kind regards

JFK signed items have been one of my favorite things to collect.  I currently have three JFK signed items:  hardback and softcover copies of Profiles in Courage and a banquet program from October, 1960. The hardback was signed on the campus of the University of Kansas (my alma mater) on November 7, 1957, and the program was signed in 1960 at a high school in Kansas just three miles from where I live.  Those two are pretty special to me.

Regarding your topic, as you know, authentic JFK signed items are relatively scare to begin with.  There are obviously far more secretarial signatures than anything else, and many people are fooled by them.  There are some real JFKs for sale on eBay.  Most are pretty pricey, but are available if you want to spend the money.  But compared to the supply of many other celebrity autographs, JFK is a scarce commodity for sure.
