I think the P looks too familiar to his signatures on those questionable pick guards. I don’t think I’d be a buyer for this item.

I would suggest listening to the experts. Owning a McCartney is costly; I would only want to own one which does not have any potential clouds hanging over it. It should be indisputable, in my opinion.

it is extremely difficult to authenticate his first name only signatures.  I would move on.
