I really don't know. I have had them since 1995 or so when the album came out.

You have lovely Bowie items!

Here is one of mine by Greg Gorman - Loger Promo  8x10 dbl-weight 1979 signed in steel tipped pen. Click for full image:

That's very nice.

Now here is an Oddity, pardon the pun.

What do you make of the 2 sigs on this.

Love the film. I do not know Catherine D's signature. Bowie. Too much unusual. 1983. That "8"? It has some good features and even some basic relations, but - I could not sell this. Would not. MarkG might well say good? I  can't say. I am very conservative. The starting stroke on that "B"...

The Catherine signature is 100% spot on...the Bowie I am genuinely unsure of. I see good things but I really dont like the date - never seen it written like this (I am assuming its 87). It's a very difficult call this one unless it was collected in-person by Alex. Love the other stuff he has.

As Eric has rightly pointed out - Bowie had the most wide ranging signature differences in 1980-81. It was often thought that his PA, Corrinne signed the first example style below but this style has been seen on several witnessed contracts. Here are some other genuine examples from 1980 which all vary greatly. A heavy signing period for Bowie due to the Elephant Man and accessibility to him after the show

Wonderful! The first example is one of those thought to be secretarial - it comes from a letter with a signed drawing IIR. It is my signature study along with the drawing "...why can't this man sign his name...?" The other two are sweet examples- Scary Monsters in RED and an ink sig strong and bold. Here is a 1980 set I put together for a customer. Original Bell flat. Oversized vintage quality shirt-waste stationary signed in his dressing room as you say, December 1980.

A couple more from 1980
