stage costumes??

I was wondering if people thought buying stage costumes  belonging to musicians /actors was a good idea or not?  Going off targett there are  no autographs involved!!  If anyone has purchased an item belonging to an actor /pop star etc what did they buy?

I bought leggings that were worn by Nancy Wilson of Heart from PledgeMusic

so how do auction houses fix a price on items worn by celebrities?  what criteria do they use?
