just like family eh?

wink wink nudge nudge, know what I mean?

I did not read this over again, but is anyone agreeing with you? Is that what you mean?

Agreeing with what? Read read and read again. I said I have not come to a final decision.

I was saying that I am entitled to an opinion.

Agreeing with what? Agreeing with YOU - that it is "likely real"... I still don't understand how you can be negotiating to buy something you have not finished studying, but are considering. That also seems...strange.

Let me explain.

If the price was too high, then a study wouldn't be a best use of my time. Is that strange?

Likely does not =is.

I might come to the same conclusion as everyone else.

Don't be so judgemental.

I never asked for anyone's opinion in the first place. I sent the photo over to Roger Epperson to find out what he has to say.

Why do I have to agree with everyone else, anyway?

I went through a similar problem with a Bette Davis autograph. Agree with us or we or else. I'm not entitled my opinion it seems.

Third time asked...

If you didn't want opinions, then why in gods name did you post it here?

He will, hopefully, have quite a few samplers not available to me. That would form part of my verdict. I will bear in mind the answers on this page.

I do things my way. I'm very sorry is that is not your way, but it's my way. I don't jump to conclusions. I was right with the Bette Davis when everyone else said the opposite to me.

I was the last to comment on that Davis with no response and I still would not touch it. Who said you were "right"?

If I had a vote, it would be no. This not only looks like its freshly signed, they squiggled some of the letters to make it more difficult to analyze and a couple other suspicious things. The Autograph Planet site (which is not a good graph site like here) does have one useful Jimi Hendrix study.

+1 And some hesitations also. I read that Hendrix is unhesitating. The "d" and "x"...there is another study online about his script but I don't recall where.

Thanks Ian. These opinions will form part of my verdict. For example if the market doesn't like it and a music specialist authenticator doesn't like it, then that wouldn't sound like a good investment if I were to sell it later - regardless of my opinion or whether it is real - if that makes sense. Hendrix autos are big money, so I like to take my time and not jump to a conclusion.

I like to apply logic and reason along with research. I like to have all the evidence before I reach a verdict. Is that so strange?

When you add your statements about being in negotiations to purchase it, yes, that is strange. Like the bad James Dean you proclaimed the "REAL DEAL" - I fail to see what you are seeing here with regard to this Hendrix. You want specifics from everyone but yourself. Even I have offered some specifics - just a few. You have not. Why don't you just say what is making you think it is "likely genuine"?
