In my opinion, this Michael Jackson signature is Not Authenic. The forger is impersonating Michael’s 1990’s signature style. The entire signature was signed with a shaky hand and without confidence or flow.
-Michael’s ‘M’ were always signed quickly and very straight. Here we see the ‘M’ being slowly written and with jerky lines. Also, Michael always made his ‘M’ as the highest character in his signature.
-The ‘i’ and ‘c’ are sharing the same character so it reads as ‘ii’ instead of ‘ic’.
-The ‘h’ is not correct at all.
-The forger fused both the ‘a’ and ‘e’ together.
-The ‘ackso’ part is written without any real characters showing.
-The ‘n’ is written slowly and with a loop instead of a sharp start and end (although Michael would sometimes use a loop on his ‘n’s, it is a common forger style however).
Hey, Big Saturn, I’d love to get your take on a Michael Jackson signed photo that recently sold on eBay for $1345. I posted a discussion in the Michael Jackson Autographs forum. It has a PSA LOA, but it’s very questionable I think.
