My biggest complaint, and this goes for all three major TPAs, is that, while all three are mostly legit, I believe they have an unethical tendency to rubber-stamp most of the autographs that are submitted by their biggest clients, authentic or not.
A couple of months ago while looking through a large seller’s big inventory of autographs, I noticed that most were authenticated by Beckett, and from what I could tell, he had several very questionable autographs passed by Beckett.
So I sent the seller a message asking him if Beckett ever rejected any of his autographs. His response was this very kind message: “You figure it out!” I thought...well that answers my question!
