Or you might be able to negotiate a $200 price on a simple cut Autograph that’s encapsulated.

I got it!!! Thank you so much for all your help. I mean you gave me an authenticity opinion, found an appropriate auction and even gave me advice on the offer. I am so excited to add the Wilt to my collection. I gave a flat $200 offer and it was accepted. I can now put this Wilt book next to my Muhammad Ali signed book on the bookshelf.   And even though I spent three times more than I’ve ever spent on an autograph ($48 for a Bill Russell autographed card), I don’t have any buyer’s remorse because I feel the price was fair and I had to have the Wilt if I was going to collect the greatest basketball players ever. Thank you again James.

You’re definitely welcome!  I’m glad it all worked out.  It’s a nice bold autograph too along with his “Peace” inscription!   And I think you got your money’s worth.  You for sure didn’t overpay.  It was a good price, and for sure authentic.  And that’s a pretty good feeling I’m sure.

Actually, the more I think about it, it was a great price.  Think about this.  PSA/DNA I believe charges $100 for Wilt Chamberlain authentication.  So it’s kind of like you got a Wilt autograph for $100 by itself...and that’s a steal!
