Tim I think I see the problem  Kayla asked if we knew any place to purchase an authentic signed Stallone but  for some reason it’s not showing up on this site anymore, hear is the message through my email

Kayla Morra replied to their discussion "Opinions if these Rocky autographs are real?" on Autograph Live

Well... I have canceled the orders for both items cut they were suppose to be a Christmas present for my husband who is a HUGE Sylvester Stallone/Rocky fan. Does anyone have and idea where I could ob...

only after the. Member asked is when I chimed In with my item,

i can probably take a snap of it to prove it

Here is a snap of the comment before I offered mines

You did question my integrity when you posted that I said her item is fake but I have a real one I can sell you, when in fact I only offered my signed item after she asked where she can find an authentic one

I just read the entire Post. (All Comments) I guess if other  Members jump off a Cliff, you will too then??? You can tell someone that they may find an Authentic autograph in the Buy/Sell/Trade Forum. You can't tell someone that their Autograph is Fake and in the same Breath, say that you can Sell them a Real one. If you can't see how that is Unethical, then I'm just wasting my Breath. (It is against ALM Rules, but you can wait for Steve to tell you this, if you don't believe me)

Why would it be unethical if the one the poster has or is considering to buy is really fake and they had an authentic one they would let go? As long as it followed the rules to sell here they saved somebody from a bad buy.

Thanks you For understanding and explaining it better then I did

Oh boy I didn’t mean to start an argument :( I apologize.

Lol don’t stress out over it, I believe Tim made an error but it’s all good no worries

you did absolutely nothing wrong, no need to apologize whatsoever,

you can try authentic signatures and they look absolutely beautiful but they are very pricey I will post mines hopefully tomorrow but I have a feeling Mr Tim might vote that it’s not authentic lol

Kayla posted this before I told her I would sale her one of mines, but for some reason it’s not up anymore

Ru007, Tim G is merely addressing the rules not your moral character. Best just post your pic to the forum, let the buy/sell rules apply, and go through with your transaction   Real is real, no one here is out to force bias opinions.

I'm glad Tim told you that it's not OK to offer autographs on Autograph Live, outside of Buy/Sell/Trade,  because we have rules against that. They're not written down in one place, though, so it's not surprising you don't know that. That's my fault. If you didn't know the rules it's not unethical, unless it is considered unethical outside of Autograph Live.

The reason I don't allow it is that we don't want people to think that the reason we may tell someone that their autograph is likely fake is so we can sell them ours. Few people who join think that, but the forgery industry often tells their victims that when they ask for a refund.

I need to spell out all the rules here and put them all in one place.

The request for offers of autographs needs to come from the potential buyer, unless it's listed in our Buy/Sell/Trade group and the potential buyer joins the group. It sounds like you didn't know that, either. Read the groups rule before you post things for sale, because it's 98% buyer-oriented.

Tim, thanks for pointing your concerns out to 007.

RU007, Tim, you're both good, honest members and collectors. Thanks for keeping your disagreement under control.
