I am so happy about my John Lennon that i wanted to share it with you. I got it from Tracks some weeks ago and now it is finally framed. As you can see it has two sheets. The first one is a German TV Station asking for an interview with John and he agreed to do so by annotating the letter with the word „Yes“ and he also drawn four black lines in order to highlight the suggested dates for the interview. The second one is the actual contract for a 3-5 min interview for the sum of 70 pounds! signed by John in the right lower corner. I am very happy how it turned out and i love the story behind it. I even tracked down the footage and got a dvd from the tv station with the actual interview with John and Yoko which lasted a bit longer than the 3-5 min stated in the contract. i just wanted to share that with you guys cause i have been learning so much from all of you since i am on that great website! Thanks!

yes i know. Tracks had them both for sale but i decided to take this one because John's signature looked better in my opinion. The one now for sale by Perry has a part of the J in John missing. But i guess it is a matter of taste...
I just looked at Perry’s listing and The contract being sold by Perry is in fact signed on behalf of the broadcasting company , not only by John as you stated
chris1523”s contract is only signed by John
but Chris is correct it’s a matter of taste
Very nice. Congrats!
I'm sorry, but I don't understand something. Perry Cox is selling right now on Ebay this exact contract with this exact autograph:

Daniel
they are 2 different contracts , Perry’s is negotiated by the broadcasting company and Lennon and Chris1523 contract is signed only by Lennon
I am not sure but Perry’s with the broadcasting company signature added may mean it’s a fully executed contract bearing both signatures
plus Perry’s contract has slightly part of the J missing and Chris 1523 does not and it’s a fuller J
You are right. It is amazing to see how 2 different autographs by Lennon are 90% identical.
Yes. Tracks had both but i decided to get the one where Lennons signature has the fuller J. I work in the music industry and most of the time we still do 2 contracts signed by both parts so that both parties have one in their hands. Especially when doing artist concert contracts. But normally it is the management signing the contracts for the artists. John seemed to like to keep it all in his hands.
This is a fantastic item. Congrats!
Thanks Ballroom! Great honour to hear that especially from you.
