Well first off, this is a Return of the Jedi poster, not ESB. The best parts are the vintage signatures, from Ford, Hamill and Jones. The worst parts are you have signatures on there from secondary people who weren't even in the movie, which completely kills the value. It would be difficult to price, you'd have to find a collector who is OK with the odd mash up of signatures, and there's not many out there willing to pay very much.

If i were to buy it, I would get it restored and have most of the signatures removed, keeping just the main cast. Which isn't a cheap process, which also kills the value.

Mike T  thank you for your thoughts.  I goofed on the Empire Strikes Back yikes!

thanks again.

I agree with Mike T about the authenticity of the autographs.  Regarding the characters who did not appear in the film, I tend to understand what the collector was attempting to accomplish.  It is very likely that Mark Hamill was the first to sign the poster.  Then the collector decided to make a project of having any other Star Wars autograph that presented an opportunity added to it.  It did not seem to matter to them that it was a Return of the Jedi poster.

I would not remove the autographs of the characters who did not appear in the film.  As a matter of fact, as strange as it may seem, I would even consider adding to them, and continue the original project, but I know that I am in the minority.  It would at least make an interesting conversation piece.  I would also not pay for them.  The value of the poster rests in the autographs of the main characters.

Thanks for your input Mike.

can u take a shot at a range that the value would be?

thanks

alex

Vintage Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill autographs, as well as more recent Warwick Davis, Carrie Fisher, James Earl Jones and Peter Mayhew autographs.  You should be able to get at least $1000 for it.  Mike T is right about the other autographs being a problem.  It makes no sense to add them to a Return of the Jedi poster.  I already explained my theory behind that.  It was probably a passion project.
