Bela Lugosi 1928 SP w Dracula Still C. 1939 Pentagram Pictures

Hi All,

I've had thses for a while but have not presented them as such. Bela Lugosi Signed Photograph Apeda Studios 1928 and a Pentagram Pictures Dracula still printed C. 1939 and stamped on the Reverse. SP from the great Tom Kramer who is retiring (get what you can!). I hope you enjoy this rather rare set! :) The mark on Lugosi's cheek is in the scan - not on the photo :)

very nice, Eric

Thanks Tony! :)

As this photo from 1977 attests, I have wanted this signature for a LONG time! :)

Is anyone aware of any methods to prevent "silvering"? Something like a sacrificial anode like w copper/silver coins or? This portrait and sig are not silvered but those early sepias can go over at anytime if not careful. Any advice appreciated. I am looking into the causes of silvering on the great Cycleback site.

Anyone with info re silvering? Would sepia ink silver?

Bump. Anyone?

Bela Lugosi C. 1928 Apedra Studios, C. 1939 Pentagram Pictures. As you can see, I've wanted this a LONG TIME!
