That should be my line - "[I] cant agree there are enough traits of his handwriting to warrant authentication"...

Why not get an opinion from Beckett signature service? How many exemplars do you have that support your claim?

I dont use Becket or the like they are costly from the UK and sometimes they are wrong.

I use my own judgement it has served me very well

Anyway i will close the discussion now as i didnt buy anyway the customs cost was too high from USA .so it dosent matter now

Re the Garland yes that was an obvious secretarial / forgery

I do not use them either. I use my experience and observation of over 20 years.

It does still matter because others might chime in. Therefore we do not close discussions here - others have not had a chance to respond so I will open it back up for additional comments should you close it.

Of course you may, i just meant my own mind is clear. it shouldnt just be our opinions , it is a sh ame there aren' t more people here, there are never many logged on are they.? And yet the magazine is still very popular?

In some cases why not? I would pit my Gleason authentication skills against anyone or anything anytime.
