Another way to look at it, its a great way for a celebrity to support a small business. There really are no losers here. People are not forced to pay ridiculous prices for daves autograph. But if they do want one, I guess heres the proof that one of these purchased is real. As for myself, I always feel awkward as an adult just begging for 1 autograph in person.  I could not stand around with 50 things in my hand without feeling shame.

Saw her page a while ago but nice post! I believe she signs everything on her site as Elvira. Premierecollectibles books are signed Cassandra Peterson and much cheaper using the code RACC20 to bring the price down to $24. I grabbed a book but still would like a photo signed "elvira". $45 is too high for me though

Ha yes, broke for sure.  Ive really started getting into horror lately so elviras book was a no brainer. You are right, those comics are tempting.

Just want to give everybody a heads up about the response i got from talk shop live in regards to the david copperfield book when I accused them of selling autopenned books. This is what they said:

“Thanks for your patience here!

We have escalated your concerns to Seller and after consulting with the publisher, it has been concluded there is absolute certainty that these signatures all had variations which indicates they were indeed hand signed and not auto-signed. At talkshoplive we take our authors at their word when they agree to sign books or bookplates. Additionally, given the volume of things he signed, it is reasonable to deduce that the signatures might not vary as much during a marathon session. Given the supporting feedback from the publisher, confirming the authenticity of David Copperfield's signature, the Seller will be unable to authorize a return or refund.

Thanks for sharing their feedback. Mine does have a variation I haven’t seen reproduced in another version. They still seem like huge, detailed signatures for a mass signing though.

Right… as i said originally, I don’t feel they are autopenned at all but I sent the message to them accusing of autopen to see what they would say..I guess it all depends on the person if they will take their word or not…

These are clearly autopen.. I wouldn't let them get away with this. I did not order one so not much I can do.. but send them zoomed in pictures, send them matching variations. Dont take no for an answer on this. Here's a link to better describe how to spot autopens, im still searching or a link with detailed pictures

Pippen is on talk shop live…if you buy one, there is a chance you get a signed one.. its not guaranteed. I get the impression just random ones are sent signed…i bought one…

As a kid raised in Chicago during the championships and knowing what I know now about sports autographs in general, I wouldn't spend $10 hoping for his autograph. But thats me.. right now I see it as a gamble, like trying to get orville redenbachers autograph.. you understand of u know what he's doing business wise recently.
