Authenticity is Everything

Steve Martin and John Raitt drawings

As legend has it, a man named John Raitt did a bunch of drawings starting in the 1930s and mailed them to celebrities, etc, to have signed. Has anyone ever heard of him or his collection? His autographed drawings are all over the place, but I've never heard of him or the collection.

Does this Steve Martin look authentic or would a secretary have signed this?

I believe this has a decent chance of being good. Steve Martin does not like signing autographs in person. So, if someone would ask him for his autograph he would hand them this card instead. That signature matches your signed drawing.
