Unidentified Photos/Autographs

Hi,

Came across these 2 in a lot I recently bought in a UK Auction. I have tried a Google image search but it hasn't come up with anything. Anyone have any idea who they are?

The top one is Mark Knopfler I believe. Dire Straits.

The top photo looks to me like Paul Kantner from Jefferson Airplane but that isn’t his signature. The word “Believe” could relate to the song Miracles. These are a real head scratcher these two photos.

I must admit on first glance I thought the 2nd one might have been Glenn Matlock and someone has suggested mark Knopfler for the 1st

Peace symbol indicates to me an American artist possibly from a 1960’s (California) band. The second photo looks like American politician Mitt Romney but it’s not “Mittens”.
