The Whisperers 1965 Dame Edith Evans TLS and 1967 UK Front of the House Card

The most wonderful and sad film about an old troubles lady living alone in Oldham near Manchester from 1967, starring Dame Edith Evans. A super TLS on her stationary with decent content not unrelated to the film, and only 2 years before. You know i like the dates close as I can get. Paired with a UK front of the house card. SP's from this period I have not seen - just much earlier in about 1930. This was her third and last Oscar nomination, this for Leading Performance.

I just learned this still was taken by photographer George Courtney Ward (1917-2011).
