Opinions on Elvis Presley please

I'm guessing this is good and I blew it but the photo looks odd. Maybe fans at the time and place had copies made for each other??

I've been collecting b/w photographs for over 30 years - that really looks like a copy print. The lack of any detail and large amount of simple grey suggests a print made from a copy negative in less than good shape. Perhaps made a bit later?
