I'll start. "Autographs America" at :http://www.autographsamerica.com/index.asp
See if you can find a worse example of obvious fake signed albums, guitars or drumheads.
I defy you :-)

@Steve I didn't know this.  what did they say was the reason?

UACC expelled Mike Munns over the fake McCartney he sold me then wah la he was reinstated and I'm still out the money he refused to refund on his life time cert.

AACS are a joke. Their location alone should have bells ringing...Iowa?? Anyway - I get their weekly reminders that their "auction" is soon to end and I go to take a look, just for the sheer laugh of it. Everything on there is a bad forgery with very few exceptions. Someone selling under the name "Rays Autographs" is the most ludicrous of them all. Thankfully I have only made a couple of purchases from them before realizing they were crooks. One item was advertised as a "Spanish magazine signed on the front by Clint Eastwood" - what arrived was in fact a GERMAN magazine with a Clint Eastwood forgery on the front cover, and to add insult to injury then also signed on the next page!!!! I mean honestly, who would sign an item twice on consecutive pages?? lol.

hi,everything that guy has is fake, selling new guitars with brian jones signature,he is the worst forger.there is also www.popculturesignatures.com   everything he has is fake, and very laughable. Then we have bryan slaven at autograph central,also..everything is fake.Forever legends is another crooked dealer,starmarks...i caught them both trying to sell american release rolling stones beggars banquet albums signed by brian jones,(i have only seen one,and tracks uk had it) anything signed by brian jones with the stones from 1968 and 1969 is extremely rare since he was not going to sessions, etc.also watch out for guaraunteed autographs,
The good dealers are-roger epperson, jeff gold, tacks uk,memorabilia uk and there are others.

What to do if you've purchased autographs from any of these mentioned forgery sites.....
Contact your local and state police department and file complaints.

Contact THEIR local and state police departments and file complaints.

These first few steps you may find difficult as in most cases the police aren't prepared to handle such calls as most people don't call in on such things but again, it's important you do this because the more people that do, the more serious this becomes and regardless, there needs to be a paper trail of complaints against these criminals for you to ever consider getting your money back.

File a complaint with the Internet Fraud Complaint Center: http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx

File an online report: http://www.ripoffreport.com

File a complaint with the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/

File a mail-fraud complaint with the USPS: https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx

File a complaint with the National Fraud Information Center:  http://www.fraud.org/info/contactnfic.htm

File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau http://www.bbb.org

I can’t emphasize enough how important it is you for you to take the time to do these few steps.  It is only through consistent efforts and vigilance that we can get these criminals brought to justice.  We also suggest doing blogs and free press releases so that this information gets copied to others.  Please copy all of this information documented here add your own story of how you got ripped off, and spread the word.

Free blog sites to do so include:

www.WordPress.com

www.Blogger.com

Submit press releases for free to as many of these as you can:

It's time to put our feet down. These types of groups and postings are a good start but this information has to be organized into a consistent group effort to get something done.

Hows this site look: http://www.theautographsource.com/ ?
From what I've seen, The Autograph Source is one of the most trustworthy autograph dealers—and one of the few reputable autograph dealers in tourist hot spots.

Good to hear!

Thanks for the quick response!

I just looked at their website!  WOW!  I love the wide range.  Everything that I saw looked great!  They have the only real Bonnie and Clyde that Ive even seen.  $94,000 but real.

Ahhh...Clyde Barrow only. You shocked me when you said Bonnie and Clyde, since I don't know of one Bonnie Parker autograph widely accepted as genuine. A B&C collector believes he has her signature, but the authenticator wasn't completely convinced it was real.

Great shop though...isn't it? The owner, Rick Schultz does one heck of a job.

Steve

He does. Coolest guy I've dealt with in the short time I've been in this hobby
