I was doing this at my local independent bookstore (looking at the ISBN of each individual box set) until an employee saw me and asked if I needed help. Turned out the signed copies were at the very front of the store, facing me as I entered the building. Whoops.

The gloves are a nice touch so other than the sticker there was no way to know then? The isbn?

Yeah, the ISBN is 9780593537565. My local bookstore just happens to put "signed" stickers on signed copies. But you should still be able to confirm by looking at the ISBN.

Just got one by searching the stock on indibeound in my local area. Will be picking it up tomorrow morning. So happy since I had two canceled.

Do you have a particular strategy for this? Is there a bulk search that pulls up the correct ISBN? Nothing is returning for me on any of the sites. (Could just be all out of stock, of course.)

I think I just lucked out. I searched for for local stores by my zip code and the 3rd one down had it listed and I ordered it for store pickup and they they called me and I got the last one. Told them I will be there in the morning to pick it up. I actually didn't even know the bookstore was there and I am familiar with the area, I may have a new go to store.

A bunch of the UK one have sold for well over 1k now. I won't be surprised if the US one ends up close to 1k as well when all is said and done. Especially if there are only 250 of them which 2 different stores have told me now. But I have nothing official to back that with.
Oddly a person on Cormac's reddit page said his amazon order actually shipped the day before yesterday. If true I wonder if the big boxes just got a handful each.
